We’re excited to welcome Zarnab to Sumledger as a front-end developer, strengthening our ability to build a modern platform for group consolidation and financial reporting.

Why front-end matters in group reporting

At Sumledger, we’re building software designed for finance teams working across multiple companies, entities and ERP systems. Our goal is simple: make group reporting simpler, faster and more accurate – without relying on spreadsheets or manual processes.

Many companies today still rely on Excel to consolidate financial data across entities. While flexible, it’s not built for continuous reporting, auditability or scale.

Sumledger is built to solve exactly this.

Our platform connects to multiple ERP systems, standardizes financial data into a group structure, and enables:

  • Continuous group consolidation
  • Real-time or near real-time financial reporting
  • Full visibility across companies, currencies and ownership structures
  • Drill-down from group level to transactions and supporting documentation

This requires more than just backend logic. It requires a front-end that can handle complex data while still feeling intuitive.

In financial reporting software, usability is often the difference between adoption and frustration.

Finance teams need to:

  • Navigate across multiple entities
  • Filter and compare data across time, companies and dimensions
  • Understand what changed and why

This puts high demands on how data is structured, presented and interacted with.

What Zarnab will strengthen

Zarnab joins us to help solve exactly these challenges.

With a strong focus on structure, performance and user experience, she will work closely on building interfaces that make complex financial data easier to understand and act on.

The team is shaped around the product

As we continue to grow, both in terms of customers and product capabilities, building the right team is critical.

We’re still early, but moving fast. And every new person we bring in shapes how the product evolves.

Zarnab has already started getting into the platform, and we’re excited about what we’ll build together going forward.

We’re building Sumledger to become a leading platform for:

  • Group consolidation software
  • Multi-entity financial reporting
  • Financial close and reporting automation

And we’re just getting started.

Welcome to the team, Zarnab 💚

From Static Reports to AI-Driven Analysis: Introducing Sumledger Analyst

Group reporting is changing. For years, finance teams have been stuck between rigid reporting systems and manual Excel work. Standard reports rarely fit perfectly, and any change in structure often means more work, more maintenance, and more time spent outside the actual analysis. With Sumledger Analyst, we’re changing that.
